ProArte Chamber Orchestra (PCO) was established on February 27, 2005, in order to meet the needs of people of good music, as well as for the place of art music players without any age borders. In accordance to its mission, PCO would give priority to quality music and make every effort possible in its performance.
Members of the PCO include all musical instrument players, including string, wind, percussion instruments, with the majority of the players as students and former students of Mr. Adidharma and from the School of Music Gloriamus. The background of the players are varied, from school pupils, students, doctors, architects, professors, lawyers, entrepreneurs and the community of classical music lovers. Having the same ideology, all players combine all their talents offering quality music.
Like other musical institutions, the presence of PCO is supported by funds derived from the members, voluntary donations and revenue from concerts. Moreover, PCO’s commitment to presenting works of beautiful music can only be created because of the players’ love the art of music. Facing long road ahead, PCO as a musical institution tries to maximize the God-given talent. ProArte to art.
